Lars M. Bishop

Lars M. Bishop is a Mobile Developer Technologies Engineer at NVIDIA. For the past 8 years, he has helped developers optimize and improve their applications for mobile and handheld platforms. He specializes in Android application programming, 3D rendering and mobile camera technologies. Prior to NVIDIA, he worked on cross-platform game engines as the CTO of Numerical Design, Limited. He is the co-author of both editions of Essential Mathematics for Games and Interactive Applications: A Programmer’s Guide (2004 and 2008, Morgan Kaufman). He holds an ScB in Mathematics/Computer Science from Brown University and an MS in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
